BAYELSA APC: FACTION OR NO FACTION?

BAYELSA APC: FACTION OR NO FACTION?  Mum would have been my response to the mischief makers desperately courting attention, by laying claims to something that exists only in the figment of their warped imagination. But allowing falsehood to sail on, unchallenged, could only give it a semblance of truth in the court of undiscerning public.  It smacks of outright mischief, for anyone to lay claims to being the leader of a faction of the Bayelsa state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC. There is no modicum of truth in that claim. Anyone masquerading as a leader of any such faction or any group of persons parading themselves as executive members of a faction of the Bayelsa state, APC, are simply delusional! For the records, the Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources for state, H.E Chief Timipre remains the leader of the party, while Jothan Amos and Eng. Alabo Martins are the caretaker and extraordinary committee chairman and Secretary of the party, respectively....

Nigeria's Insecurity: The Architects Holds The Solution

The daily reports of Insecurity across Nigeria, no doubt, creates a pang of panic in the hearts of even the bravest of men. Every well meaning Nigerian is perturbed by the daily reports of kidnappings, arsons, banditry and gruesome killings, that now appears routine. We are on a precipice as a nation, no doubt.  While the cause of these nerve-racking wanton destruction of lives and properties could be said to be multifaceted in nature, a fundamental cause in my humble estimation, is the dereliction of duty by our security operatives.  Though saddled with the responsibility of maintaining law and order, our security  agencies have chosen not to live up to their responsibilities. It is a choice a vast majority of them made for filthy lucre sake. They are either tied to the apron strings of politicians or are working in cahoots with criminal elements.  The humongous cache of arms in the hands of all the criminal elements in the country, were successfully smuggled into t...

THERE IS NO 650million dollar scam, Addax is simply reaping Nigeria off. By Sen. Magnus Abe ......We will not shy away from defending our National interest My attention has been drawn to a story by Sahara reporters titled : “Petroleum Minister cronies plot kangaroo NNPC report to divert 650 million dollar oil contracts to themselves.” The said story is clearly  designed to create the impression of a major scandal and arm twist the federal government in the matter concerning the recent attempt to revoke some oil blocks from a foreign company,  Addax petroleum. To create the needed sensation, all kinds of names, including mine was dragged into the fray. For the avoidance of doubt, I recently headed a Presidential inter-ministerial committee made up of technocrats from several federal ministries and departments to advise the    President on the plight of an indigenous engineering and technology company, Kaztec Engineering limited. The committee was set up by...

Read More Brass: DCP Kola Okunlola's Molestation, The Facts You Need To Know The social media has been awash with the story of an abducted Deputy Commissioner of Police in Twon-Brass, the headquarter of Brass local government area.
